Product of the month September 2009: PRIMAL™ SB-110
PRIMAL™ SB-110 is a very soft acrylic emulsion designed to produce base coats for very soft leather types with the following characteristics:
· high wet and dry flex properties
· good heat yellowing resistance
· improved cut-through properties
· good print retention
· good filling effect and coverage
· for a binder of this softness low tack and good plate release
In addition, leather base coated with a formulation containing PRIMAL™ SB-110 retain more of their inherent softness and drape characteristics. They form excellent substrates for further finishing operations.
