Being in Nature – towards an ecological future
There is a longing for Nature, an urge to get away from the stress of daily life. People want to relax, to escape from the hustle and bustle of the big city. They want more time for themselves and their partners and want to spend this time outdoors. Woods become a synonym for tranquility. Full greens and browns make for inner harmony and serenity. People are yearning for a return to the simple life, a life free of complications. In the world of fashion, this wish is fulfilled in the form of comfortable clothing – loose, casual, free of constraints. Warm earthy colors dominate this trend – from beige combined with green and brown to orange/red shades. Matt colors are complemented by glossy highlights. |  |
Old fishermen – longing for the deep blue sea
This trend, too, reflects the longing for tranquility and Nature. The sea has a strong attraction when you feel stressed out. You want to flee the big city, to sit by the sea and listen to the sound of the waves. Water in its various hues of green and blue generates a feeling of harmony and inspires the imagination. As your gaze wanders over the sea to the horizon, you begin to dream. In your mind, you are transported back to the olden days when fishermen were able to go about their business serenely and unperturbed – this longing for the simple life is becoming increasingly pronounced. Fashion picks up the colors of the sea and uses them in styles borrowed from naval jackets. Oxidative effects are employed to give an "old" look. Uniforms are in. The colors change from ocean-blue to dark green and black, interspersed with light silver shades. |  |
Sportswear – enjoy the extreme winter games
Outside work, people are looking for new challenges and are increasingly taking up extreme sports to give them the right kick. Sport is integrated into daily life, people want to be active. Alongside extreme sports, there is also a trend towards team sports and mass sports. People are remembering the sporting activities of their childhood such as bobsledding and ice-skating. The focus here is on functional clothing which gives protection against cold and injury and at the same time is comfortable to wear. Materials are produced using the latest technologies. The colors are classical and harmonize with one another, nothing shocking. Light shades are contrasted with dark colors, orange/brown shades are teamed with lime green or blue. There is also a wide variety of surface effects – matt leathers feature alongside glossy leathers, and metallic effects are also to be found. |  |
