Trends Autumn/Winter 2005-2006:

A tendency towards the well-groomed look

In the new season, anything goes. References to styling ideas, silhouettes and colors from previous decades abound. However, the new trends are not simply carbon copies of past creations, but take their inspiration from them for a new fashion story that is relevant to the present day.

Off-limits culture

Fashion without boundaries - a wide variety of colors is combined with all kinds of materials. The influence of individual cultures is indistinct, i.e. it is no longer possible to assign a particular fashion style to a particular culture. You cannot tell from a person's clothing which country or region he or she comes from. The accent is on contrast. Sports pants are combined with jackets, two-tone effects are in.
The colors are dark and subdued - from blue and black to dark lilac and stone-gray. The materials are deliberately made to look old; crinkle leather is to be found along with corrected grain leather and lots of two-sided materials.

"Gemuetlich Feeling"

A delight for the senses. The emphasis here is on "Gemütlichkeit", a feeling of warmth and coziness. This trend is an expression of intimacy, well-being, the sort of feelings associated with being "at home".
The colors are soft and warm, slightly pastelly. Beige shades dominate along with forest green, hazelnut and orange/red shades.
The materials are supple and pleasant to touch. In the furniture sector, side leather with buffalo embossings is featured, as is nubuck.

State of the art - Aristocratic fashion

This trend simply exudes elegance. The fashions have a certain aristocratic touch, they are classical with elements borrowed from antiquity. The goods are designed to please, they are pretty. The main color of this trend is black in all conceivable combinations - from matt to glossy with metallic effects (gold/silver). The colors are clear; in addition to black, an elegant red and different gradations of red/brown are to be found. New technologies are used for particularly high-quality leathers. The materials are technically perfect and an expression of pure luxury.

Earth's new and old experiences

Granny's fashions are experiencing a revival. This trend combines old with new, modern elements with features from the past. Many of the articles are reminiscent of "treasures" found in the attic. There is a feeling of being transported back into the past. The colors are very dark and subdued, but are combined with light, matt shades such as beige, latte, wood brown and light red.
The materials are traditional; effects are obtained by tipping. Here, too, slight metallic effects are used.
